HPS-CHANCE Continues to Lead Industry in ICC Certifications

When building with CHANCE™ helical piles, you have the assurance that their helical piles stand up to industry standards as they hold more International Code Council (ICC) certifications than any other helical pile brand. HPS-CHANCE maintains ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) Report ESR-2794 for the US. These certifications are independently evaluated by the ICC-ES to ensure the materials meet the requirements of the International Building Code (IBC). (ESR-2794 also presents compliance with the 2020 LABC and 2013 ADIBC. In Canada, HPS-CHANCE maintains Canadian Construction Materials Centre Evaluation Report CCMC 13193-R.)

ICC-ES is the US’ leading source of technical information on building products and technology for building code compliance. ICC-ES performs evaluations of building products, materials, components and methods. From these evaluations, reports of compliance are created and are made available online.

HPS-CHANCE announced in 2020 that their RS4500.337 material has been evaluated and is now included in ESR-2794. This brings opportunity for more helical pile products to be approved for use by building code officials across the US. 

HPS-CHANCE has put a significant amount of their building materials through ICC-ES’ vigorous testing and thorough evaluation. ICC-ES have thoroughly examined CHANCE’s product information, test reports, calculations, quality control methods and other factors to ensure the materials are code compliant.
