Pipe Bracket   

Location:   Sea Bright, NJ

This project proved to be challenging from the beginning. Shore was contracted to install four SS-175 piles to 80 Kips with pipe brackets to support a previously installed drainage pipe on the banks of the Shrewsbury River in Sea Bright, NJ.  Because the river is tidal, the work had to be completed at low tide. Cave ins were frequent due to the depth of the pipe so shoring and pumps were brought in to alleviate the problem. To attach the bracket, Dywidag bar adapters were used to terminate the pile and lock the bracket in place, preventing any future movement.
