Lifting

The enormous cracks in this one story garage were growing by the day and the entire corner was in danger of structural failure. To complicate matters the footer was practically non-existent and had to be rebuilt before any lifting could be attempted. Shore installed nine AB Chance SS5 square shaft piles with lifting brackets and 8" x 8" x 1/2" angle iron. The piles were jacked up simultaneously and the cracks were closed almost completely. Cosmetic restoration contributed to the overall success of this challenging project.
